On March 18th, Dr. Paul Belanger presented at the Workshop on Syndromic Surveillance of Health and Climate-Related Impacts hosted by KFL&A Public Health with support from Health Canada and financial contributions from Queen’s University Department of Family Medicine. The workshop brought together public health practitioners, epidemiologists, emergency management officials, and environmental health experts to discuss lessons learned and share best practices for the use of syndromic surveillance systems for health and climate effects.
