We welcome Winchester District Memorial Hospital to the Acute Care Enhanced Surveillance system. Their participation marks 100% of eligible hospitals in the Eastern Ontario Health Unit geography.
The ACES team at KFL&A Public Health welcome Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre to the system. Their participation marks 100% coverage of acute care facilities in the GTA.
We are pleased to welcome the London Health Sciences Center to the Acute Care Enhanced Surveillance (ACES) system. They are the first of 11 hospitals in their network to complete technical integration. Together, these hospitals represent a significant contribution to provincial surveillance coverage, and we thank each of our new partners for their participation and support.
It’s a new year and we are happy to announce two new partnerships with the Acute Care Enhanced Surveillance system. Thessalon and Matthew’s Memorial Hospitals, both within the Algoma Public Health geographic footprint, are now transmitting real-time data from their emergency departments.
We are pleased to welcome Red Lake Margaret Cochenour hospital to the Acute Care Enhanced Surveillance System. Their data will be used to inform decision making both for the hospital, and in combination with the other networks of connected facilities the Northwestern region and province as a whole.
Application Developer, Jason Price worked in collaboration with the Environmental Health Division of KFL&A Public Health to create Know Before You Go. Know Before You Go is a application gives the public access to health inspection records for restaurants, public pools and spas and, personal service settings. The application officially launched October 05, 2015.
